Analytics & Revenue

Where your numbers live, what each one actually counts, and how conversion status affects your balance.

Figures refresh on a delay. Dashboard numbers are cached for a few minutes and the conversion and click pages for a little longer. A conversion that has just been approved may not appear immediately. Always re-check before acting on a discrepancy.

Where your numbers are

Page Shows
Dashboard Earnings, conversions, clicks, conversion rate, a daily earnings chart, a status breakdown, your best-performing apps and offers, and your ten most recent conversions.
Reports → Conversions Every conversion, with filters and full payout detail.
Reports → Rejected Conversions Rejected conversions only, plus the revenue lost and your rejection rate.
Reports → Clicks Every click, with filters for app, offer, device, country and IP.
Reports → Postbacks Every outbound postback attempt: the resolved URL, HTTP status, your response body, and success and failure counts.
Referral Program → My Stats Referral commissions, total and this month.

The Rejected Conversions and Postbacks pages are the two most useful and the least obvious. Both answer questions the dashboard cannot.

Conversion status: the concept behind every number

Every conversion carries one of three statuses, and the status drives everything:

Status Meaning Effect on your balance
approved The network confirmed the conversion. Credited.
pending Reported but not yet confirmed. Nothing. Pending conversions pay nothing.
rejected Reversed by the network, or refused by fraud detection. Deducted, if it had previously been approved.
This trips up most new publishers. A conversion you can see listed is not necessarily money you have. Only approved is. A conversion that sits at pending for a long time and then becomes rejected never paid anything at all.

Networks report their own status vocabulary; Preads normalises it. Anything the network calls completed, approved or pending is treated as approved; anything it calls rejected, reversed or chargeback becomes rejected; anything unrecognised becomes pending.

What each dashboard figure means

Figure How it is calculated
Total Earnings The sum of your payouts across every conversion in the selected date range. Labeled "Approved + pending", but in practice it also includes rejected conversions — see the note below.
Total Conversions Count of conversions in the range, all statuses.
Total Clicks Clicks recorded against your apps in the range. Counts every click, whether or not it led to a conversion.
Conversion Rate Conversions divided by clicks, as a percentage. Uses all conversions including rejected ones, so it reads higher than your earnings rate.
Earnings chart Earnings and conversions per day across the range. Note: the chart is anchored to the last N days rather than the range you selected, so it can disagree with the figure above it.
Best apps / Best offers Your top five by conversion count and by earnings. The app list counts approved conversions only.
Recent Conversions Your ten most recent live conversions, with app, offer, country, device, status and payout.
Two known reporting quirks.
  • Total Earnings includes rejected conversions. The label says "Approved + pending", but rejected payouts are summed in as well. For a truer figure use Reports → Rejected Conversions and subtract the lost revenue, or filter the conversions report by status.
  • The earnings chart ignores your date range. It always shows the trailing window. If the chart and the headline figure disagree, the range filter is the reason — not a data error.

Why your balance and your earnings can disagree

Your balance and your reported earnings are maintained separately, and they legitimately diverge in two situations:

  • A conversion is rejected. The balance is reduced immediately. The earnings figure is cached and may still include that conversion until it refreshes.
  • A conversion is still pending. It is counted in conversions and in Total Earnings, but it has not been credited to the balance.

Your balance is the authoritative figure for what you can be paid. Treat Total Earnings as an activity measure rather than a balance. If they disagree persistently rather than briefly, contact your platform operator.

Currency

Every figure in your reports is shown in your platform's single currency, using the symbol and decimal settings configured by your operator. It is not converted into each app's own currency.

The currency you set on an app governs what your end users see on the wall. It does not change the currency your reports are rendered in. If you need per-currency figures, reconcile against your postbacks or your provider statements rather than expecting the dashboard to split them.

What is not available

These are commonly expected from an advertising platform and are not currently provided. Do not build reporting that depends on them:

Not available Notes
eCPM Not computed anywhere in the product.
EPC / revenue per click Not computed.
CTR Not available to publishers. A click-through figure exists for advertiser campaigns, but not in your reporting.
Impressions / view counts Not tracked or reported to publishers.
Revenue broken down by country, device or network Available to administrators only. Publisher reports cover totals, apps, offers, clicks and conversions.
CSV or PDF export No export facility exists.
Scheduled email reports Not provided.
Analytics via the API There is no analytics endpoint. Use the reports pages, or reconcile from your postback logs.
Real-time updates Figures are cached for minutes, not streamed.

Filtering

Report Filters available
Dashboard Start and end date only.
Conversions App, offer name, status, device, country, date range, and sort order by date or payout.
Rejected Conversions App, offer name, device, country, date range.
Clicks App, offer name, device, country, IP.
Postbacks Status, transaction ID, date range, sort order.
Two filters are unreliable on this build.
  • Filtering clicks by IP does not work. The query targets a column the click table does not have, so results are unreliable.
  • IP and "Converted" columns in the clicks list are blank. Both render from fields the table does not contain, so the IP column is always empty and every click reads as unconverted. Use the conversions report instead to find out what converted.

Troubleshooting

Symptom Cause and fix
Earnings are lower than expected Check how many conversions are pending. Pending conversions are counted in the earnings figure but have not been credited to your balance.
Earnings dropped unexpectedly Check the rejected conversions report for reversals. A rejection reduces your balance immediately.
The earnings chart does not match the headline figure The chart ignores your selected date range and always shows the trailing window. Both figures are correct for what they cover.
Total Earnings does not equal what you were paid Total Earnings counts all statuses. Subtract the lost revenue shown on the rejected conversions page for a closer figure.
My IP filter returns nothing Known limitation on this build. Browse the click list instead.
Every click shows as not converted The "Converted" column is not populated on this build. Check the conversions report for the real picture.
A conversion is missing from the reports Test conversions created with the test postback tool are deliberately excluded from all figures.
Postback success rate is low but conversions look fine Conversions are still counted and credited regardless of postback delivery. Fix the endpoint, then re-send tests to confirm.
An app does not appear in "Best apps" That list counts approved conversions only, and shows the top five. Check the app's conversions report directly.
