Deposit

Adding funds to your wallet balance, for example to buy traffic through the advertiser area.

The deposit page is not in the publisher menu on every build. If you cannot find it, go straight to https://preads.hansaldev.com/user/wallet/deposit.

Overview

Deposits go through the payment gateways your operator has enabled. Which methods are available depends entirely on your installation — your operator configures them, and the list you see is exactly the list that is active.

A gateway is only offered if it is enabled, supports deposits, and has at least one currency configured. If a method you expected is missing, ask your operator rather than assuming it is broken.

Making a deposit

  1. Sign in to your publisher account and open the deposit page.
  2. Choose a payment method.
  3. Choose the currency you want to pay in. Only currencies your operator configured for that gateway appear.
  4. Enter the amount and submit.
  5. Complete the payment with the provider, then return to Preads.

Amounts, minimums and fees

  • There is no platform-wide minimum. The limit that applies is the minimum your operator set for that specific gateway and currency. The amount you are shown as acceptable on the form is authoritative.
  • Each gateway currency also has a maximum.
Deposit fees are added on top. If a provider charges a percentage plus a fixed fee, the amount deducted from your payment is your requested amount plus those charges. This is the opposite of withdrawal fees, which are deducted from the payout. Check the total shown before you confirm.

Automatic and manual methods

Payment methods behave in one of two ways:

Type Behaviour
Automatic The provider confirms payment by callback or webhook and your balance is credited without further action.
Manual You submit proof of payment in the form the method requires. Your deposit stays pending until an administrator reviews and approves it. This can take some time.

Your operator is notified when a manual deposit is submitted. If a manual deposit sits at pending for longer than you expect, contact them.

Deposit statuses

Status Meaning
pending Submitted, not yet confirmed. Every deposit starts here. For manual methods this is where it waits for approval.
processing The provider is still confirming the payment.
completed Paid and credited to your balance.
rejected Declined, with a reason recorded. For manual methods this is an administrator decision.
failed The attempt errored before completing.
refunded Returned to you by your operator. The balance is reversed.

Your balance is only increased when a deposit reaches completed. Check the deposit history page if a payment has gone through with the provider but your balance has not moved.

Troubleshooting

Symptom Cause and fix
The deposit page is missing from the menu Navigate directly to https://preads.hansaldev.com/user/wallet/deposit.
A payment method is not listed It is not enabled for deposits, or has no currency configured. Ask your operator.
My amount is rejected It falls outside the minimum or maximum for that gateway currency. The form shows the accepted range.
I paid more than the amount I requested Expected — provider fees are added on top of the deposit amount.
Payment completed but my balance did not change The deposit is not completed yet. Check the status in your deposit history. For manual methods, wait for approval.
My deposit was rejected Read the recorded reason. Common causes are a mismatch between the amount sent and the amount entered, or missing proof for a manual method.
Deposit attempts start failing after a few tries Rate limiting. Wait a minute before retrying.
A duplicate deposit was created If you submitted twice, the duplicate sits alongside the original. Contact your operator to have the extra one reversed or refunded.
