Content Locker

Where the Content Locker sits, and who can do what with it.

The Content Locker is a publisher tool, not an advertising product. It does not appear in the advertiser area, it does not consume your balance, and you cannot buy one. Publishers create them to gate their own content.

Who can manage lockers

Role Can do
Publisher Create, edit, view, delete and preview lockers. Choose from the templates your operator has published. View locker statistics.
Administrator List, view and delete lockers, change their status, review and reverse conversions, manage templates, and manage the banned-word list. Administrators cannot create or edit lockers — there is no admin creation or editing screen for lockers.
Advertiser Nothing. There is no advertiser-facing Content Locker screen.

If you are an operator and expected to create lockers from the admin area, that screen does not exist on this build — a publisher must create them.

Templates

Publishers choose from the templates your operator has published, and must select both a desktop and a mobile template. The locker renders the mobile template on phones and tablets and the desktop template otherwise.

The template preview renders with real offers where possible. When none match the locker's country and payout filters it substitutes sample offers with placeholder amounts — so never treat preview figures as real.

Which offers appear in a locker

Locker tasks are drawn from the standard offer catalogue, filtered by the visitor's detected country and by the locker's payout threshold. They are not advertiser-purchased inventory — you cannot select or pay for the offers a publisher's locker presents. If no offer matches, the locker shows an empty task list, which looks broken to visitors; lower the payout threshold.

Conversions and moderation

  • Locker conversions are recorded and appear in reporting, but they are not associated with a specific app.
  • Locker conversions never send a postback. Do not build a crediting flow on postbacks for locker activity.
  • An administrator reversing a locker conversion sets its status but, on this build, does not deduct the amount from the publisher's balance.
  • Your operator maintains a banned-word list. A locker whose title or description matches a banned word may be suppressed automatically.

Integrating a locker

Full integration guidance — iframe embed, user identification, the progress endpoint and rate limits — is on the publisher-facing page: Content Locker.
